This Strawberry Trifle is a delightful fusion of a classic trifle and the airy lightness of Eton Mess. Layers of fluffy Swiss roll cake, sweet strawberries, and silky whipped cream come together to create a dessert that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. Perfect for any occasion, it’s guaranteed to impress with its vibrant presentation and irresistible flavor!

Ingredients
- 2 boxes of strawberry Swiss roll cake (store-bought or homemade), sliced into 1 ½ cm rounds
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups whipped cream or decorating cream for firmer swirls
- 1 cup strawberry jam (optional, for added flavor between layers)
- 1 pack of vanilla pudding (prepared), or you can substitute with a similar creamy custard
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Directions
Slice the strawberry Swiss roll cakes into neat 1 ½ cm rounds.
Take a glass trifle bowl and arrange the Swiss roll slices vertically around the bottom and sides, with the rolled pattern facing outward for an elegant effect.
- Spread a generous layer of whipped cream or custard over the base, ensuring it evenly covers the Swiss rolls and creates a smooth surface for the next layer.
- Add a layer of fresh strawberry slices over the cream, fanning them out against the glass to show off their vibrant red color.
- Continue layering alternating layers of Swiss roll slices, whipped cream (or pudding), and strawberries until the trifle dish is filled.
To finish, top the trifle with a generous swirl of whipped cream and garnish with whole fresh strawberries.
For extra indulgence, drizzle strawberry jam between layers or on top.
Place the trifle in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the layers to set.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
