Marry Me Chicken - AKA Creamy Tuscan Chicken
This dish is so good, it might even inspire a proposal! You can catch the step-by-step video tutorial on my Instagram, where I also share fun "Did You Know?" facts about how this dish got its name. A creamy, flavorful sauce made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, combined with perfectly seasoned chicken breasts, gives this dish an irresistible blend of Italian and Mediterranean flavors.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh spinach or basil (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook until browned on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add the chicken broth, cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Return the chicken breasts to the pan, reduce the heat, and simmer until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh spinach or basil for extra flavor.
